What's your destiny? I don't know, but it starts with being "chosen and precious" (verse 6), (and not being rejected but becoming important), and comes back around to being "a chosen people, …royal, …holy (verse 9), "God's people" (verse 10). There's a lot of talk about "becoming" in this section. Where do you see it? Hint: try reading verse 8 in the Common English Bible - it gives a different interpretation.
