We are a community of faith that shares a passion for making positive changes in the world. Our faith is built around a strong belief in God as made known to us in Jesus Christ. Through worship, service, and education, we practice our faith, grow our relationship with God and experience God’s grace in our lives.
Christ Lutheran is a joyful part of the Delaware/Maryland Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA), whose mission is to proclaim the good news of God's unconditional love in Jesus Christ. We recognize that we can reach farther with the message by walking together on the journey!
Each year, the congregation elects members to serve on the Church Council, which is Christ Lutheran's leadership body. The Church Council takes prayerful actions that guide our congregation in living out our mutual call as followers of Jesus Christ.
