Now a days we call someone a pocket friend if they're always available by phone. In the "old days" a pocket friend was a friend we took out when we needed them, but otherwise we ignored them. Either way, God is bigger than our pocket. God's ways are more amazing and awesome than will fit in any pocket. Keep an eye out and you might see God when you are shaken up!
